Earth's Galactic Empire has fallen. A devastating war against alien forces drained our solar system of nearly all its resources. A coalition of wealthy philanthropists has funded humanity's last desperate gamble: an expedition to gather gold from unexplored space.

You were selected for your courage, intelligence, and resourcefulness. The fate of humanity rests in your hands. Will you return as a hero — or join the countless explorers who vanished into the void?

🎮 WHAT IS THIS GAME?

Cosmic Gold Rush is a space mining roguelite that combines two very different gameplay layers:

• 🪐 3D Universe Navigation — Zoom, rotate, and fly between 7 solar systems and 39 planets with zero loading screens
• ⚔️ 2D Top-Down Combat — Physics-based rocket movement, fast-paced laser combat, and coordinated robot strikes
• ⛏️ Autonomous Robot Miners and gun turrets — Deploy mining bots to extract gold while you focus on survival. Autonomous gun turrets synchronize to your fire
• 🌪️ Escalating Meteorite Storms — From gentle drift to extreme bullet-hell chaos
• 🧲 Original Magnetic Technologies — Magnetic Harvester attracts gold to your ship, Magnetic Repulsor blasts enemies away, Electromagnetic Pulse disables all threats in range
• 🔬 Tech Tree Progression — Unlock 9 lost technologies that each transform your strategy
• 💀 Roguelite Design — Death is not the end. Your clone inherits your ship and all technology

🏴‍☠️ Planet 5 — Billy One Hand	Pirate	Pirate spaceships with laser cannons. Magnetic Harvester attracts all gold to your ship. Electromagnetic Pulse disables all enemies in range

The full game features 7 solar systems, 39 planets, and 9 unlockable technologies.

☄️ THREE DANGERS IN YOUR JOURNEY

• ☄️ Meteor showers — Avoid the deadly meteor showers. Shoot meteors to neutralize them... or let your gun turrets do it for you
• 🏴‍☠️ Pirates — Organized squads with combat robots, defensive guns, and energy shields. Tactical, fortified, dangerous
• 👾 Aliens — Overwhelming numbers, high speed, and the terrifying Ring of Fire shock weapon. Chaotic and relentless

🔧 BUILT BY ONE PERSON

I spent 2 years building this game solo, on a Linux Fedora laptop, using Godot 4.6 (open source game engine). Designed to run on anything — from a gaming PC to your phone between two metro stops. Uses less RAM than your web browser.

Launching on Steam in Q3 2026 — in 20 languages from day one.
